This past weekend CrossFit Tidal Wave competed in the Armada Challenge in Pearland, Tx. It was a well run competition with solid event programming. CrossFit Armada showed an experienced hand when it came to running the event. The Armada Challenge is a compilation of competitions hosted by CrossFit Armada in Pearland, Texas. The Armada Challenge is a series of events that allows participants to compete within the modalities of CrossFit as an individual or within a co-ed team (1M/1F). Divisions include Men (RX/Scaled/Masters 40+), Female (RX/Scaled/Masters 40+), and Coed Team of 2 (RX/Scaled). With 127 athletes, 33 different boxes and 4 WODs the event was a tough one for sure. Our team gave it their all and it truly showed. With both first time and experienced competitors the performances were amazing. With 11 athletes competing and having over half ending up on the podium it was a great day to say the least.
